The 2023-2024 Fall undergraduate 1st midterm exam schedule has been announced, and it has been stated that the graduate 1st midterm exams will be held between 27.11.2023 - 01.12.2023.

Regarding the 2023-2024 Fall Semester PhD Qualifying Written and Oral Exams

The PhD qualifying written exam will be held on 28.11.2023 at 10:00, and the oral exam will be held on the same day at 13:00 in Meeting Room A-240.

1st Additional Exam Schedule and Thesis-Design Topic Determinations for Students Reaching the Maximum Period of Study (2023-2024 Fall)

The 1st additional exam schedule and the thesis-design academic advisor list have been announced for students reaching the maximum period of study, and thesis topics must be submitted by the end of working hours on 06.10.2023.

Orientation Program (Department Introduction Program)

The Faculty and Department introductory/informative orientation meeting for first-year students will be held on 6 October 2023.

Re: Classroom Assignment (MTM3551 Integral Transforms Course)

The classroom for the MTM3551 Integral Transforms course, held on Thursdays between 09:00 - 12:00, has been updated to KMB-306 (Lab).

Student ID Card Delivery (Registered via 2023 Central Lateral Transfer)

Students registered via the 2023 Central Lateral Transfer must collect their student ID cards in person from the Student Affairs room A-238.

2022-2023 Summer School Process

Within the scope of the 2022-2023 Summer School, rules regarding taking courses, registration, fees, and taking courses from outside the department and from other universities are explained.

Regarding Topic Determination for Graduation Project and Math. Eng. Design Applications Courses (2023-2024 Fall)

Students must determine their Graduation Project and Design Applications course topics with their academic advisors and submit them by 6 October 2023 at 16:00 at the latest.

Regarding Petitions for Course Add-Drop with Excuse

Students who cannot select courses on OBS due to an excuse must submit a signed petition to Department Student Affairs between 26 September and 6 October 2023.

Student ID Card Deliveries for Newly Admitted Students (2023 YKS and YÖS)

Students placed in the department via 2023 YKS and YÖS can receive their student cards by applying in person to room A-242.

Regarding Conflicting Course Selections

For the selection of conflicting courses whose attendance requirement has been fulfilled, students must submit a petition to the Department Student Affairs between 26 September - 6 October 2023.

Re: Quota Increases

Quota increases to be made during course registration dates have been announced, and all increase procedures have been completed as of 25.09.2023.

Regarding Course Group Merging

Groups 2 and 4 of courses MTM2511, MTM4521, and MTM4581 will be merged under a single group at the end of course registration.

About the MTM4661 Advanced Object-Oriented Programming Course

The MTM4661 Advanced Object-Oriented Programming course will be taught in Python in the 2023-2024 Fall semester, and the course resources have been updated.

Regarding the Receipt of Course Adjustment Forms and Course Selection for Central Lateral Transfer / Double Major / Minor Students

Central lateral transfer, double major, and minor students must receive their course adjustment forms in person by the end of working hours on 29.09.2023 at the latest.

2023-2024 Fall Semester Course Registrations

2023-2024 Fall semester course registrations will be conducted on 19-22 September 2023, and independent course registration will be held on 25 September 2023 via OBS starting at 09:00.

Regarding Taking Courses from Other Departments in the 2023-2024 Fall Semester

Applications to take courses from other departments must be submitted in person with a signed petition between 27.09.2023 – 03.10.2023.

Regarding Student ID Card Distribution for Graduate Programs (2023-2024 FALL)

The graduate students listed may pick up their student ID cards from office A-238 between 09:00 and 16:30.
