1st Additional Exam Schedule for Students Reaching the Maximum Period of Study (2022-2023 Fall)

The 1st Additional Exam Schedule for the 2022-2023 Fall semester has been published for students reaching the maximum period of study.

Attention to Students Whose Maximum Period of Study Has Expired

Students whose maximum period of study has expired must contact their academic advisors and report their thesis topics by 21.10.2022, and submit their work by 19.01.2023.

To the Attention of Graduate Students Taking the Seminar Course

The deadline for graduate students taking the seminar course to fill out form FR-1503, submit it in person, and determine their topics is 14 October 2022.

Students Whose Courses Could Not Be Added Due to Course Conflicts

Students whose courses could not be added due to course conflicts must submit a petition in person requesting non-conflicting courses by the end of working hours on 12-13 October 2022.

Unapproved Course Add-Drop Petitions

Those whose add-drop petition was rejected and who do not want the alternative courses must submit a course-drop-only petition by the end of working hours on 10.10.2022 at the latest.

Regarding Graduate Programs Course Selection Process

Orientation Program

The Department orientation meeting for newly admitted first-year students will be held on Tuesday, 4 October 2022 at 12:00 in Davutpaşa Campus, hall KMB-225.

Regarding Topic Determination for Graduation Project and Math. Eng. Design Applications Courses

Students must determine their topics for the Graduation Project and Design Applications courses with their academic advisors and submit them by 10 October 2022 at 16:30 at the latest.

Regarding Petitions for Course Add-Drop with Excuse

Those who cannot select courses on OBS due to an excuse must submit a petition in person to Department Student Affairs between 28.09.2022 and 03.10.2022 until the end of working hours.

Regarding the 2022-2023 Academic Year Basic Sciences Courses Exemption Exam Schedule

Re: Course Quota Increase (Updated)

Quotas will be increased for the listed undergraduate courses as of 14:00 and 16:00 on 26.09.2022.

Additional Exam Applications for Students Completing Their Maximum Duration of Study at the End of the 2021-2022 Spring Semester

Those who complete their maximum duration of study at the end of the 2021-2022 Spring semester may apply for two additional exam rights via OBS between 29 September - 02 October 2022.

Update on Advisor-Student Meeting for Undergraduate Students

Advisor meetings for undergraduate students will be held in person or online between 21 September - 02 October 2022.

Regarding Conflicting Course Selections

Students wishing to select a maximum of two conflicting courses, provided that one is online and the other is face-to-face, must apply by petition on 29-30 September and 3 October 2023.

Regarding Quota Increases

Quota increases in elective and compulsory English courses will be made on the Independent Course Registration day if deemed necessary.

Student ID Card Deliveries for Newly Admitted Students (2022 YKS)

Undergraduate students placed via 2022 YKS on the list may collect their student ID cards in person from the Department Secretariat.

Regarding Course Registrations for the 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester

Course registrations for the 2022-2023 fall semester will be held on 20-23 September 2022, and independent course registration will be held on 26 September 2022 via OBS.

Regarding Receipt of Course Adaptation Forms of Students via Central Lateral Transfer and Student Amnesty Law No. 7417

Students registered via central lateral transfer and amnesty must receive their course adaptation forms in person against signature by the end of working hours on 23.09.2022 at the latest.

Regarding Taking Courses from Other Departments in the 2022-2023 Fall Semester

Students in graduation standing who wish to take courses from other departments during the fall semester must submit their approved petitions between 28.09.2022 and 03.10.2022.
