THE MATTERS THAT STUDENTS WISHING TO TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS OF OUR UNIVERSITY IN THE 2022-2023 FALL SEMESTER MUST PAY ATTENTION TO ARE STATED BELOW.
•The student is required to be in a position to graduate at the end of the fall semester (including the courses for which they will take the Graduation Exam).
•There must be no course conflict between the courses intended to be taken from other departments and the student's entire course schedule.
•A maximum of 2 courses can be taken, only once.
•The content of the course to be taken from other departments must be 75% equivalent.
•The total course credit limit that can be taken in a semester must not be exceeded.
•The fact that internships have not been completed does not pose an issue.
•Students who have previously taken courses from other departments cannot take courses again. (Except summer school)
STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS;
•You can obtain approval via e-mail from any of the faculty members teaching our Department's course corresponding to the course to be taken from the other department.
•You can make a request to the faculty member by forwarding the course content link from http://bologna.yildiz.edu.tr/ for the other department course you are requesting to have counted.
•In the approval e-mail, it must be clearly stated by the faculty member as in the example: "The content of the MTM3512 Complex Analysis 1 course is 75% compatible in terms of content with the MAT4111 Theory of Complex Functions 1 course."
•You must submit the approval you received together with your signed petition in person to the Department Student Affairs unit between the dates 28.09.2022 – 03.10.2022 (until the end of working hours).
•The date 27.09.2022 is the announcement date for courses closed by all departments. Make sure that the course you specify in your petition has not been closed.
•Petitions arriving before and/or after the specified dates will not be evaluated.
