2nd Additional Exam Schedule for Students Reaching the Maximum Period of Study (2022-2023 Fall)

Regarding the 2022-2023 Fall 2nd Midterm Exam Schedule and Course Delivery in Week 12

In the 12th week, service courses will be held face-to-face, while other courses not administering a 2nd midterm exam will be held online.

About Exam Excuses

It has been announced that exam excuse reports must be submitted by hand within 3 days at the latest, that there is no excuse exam for finals, and that excuse exams will be held in the final week.

2022-2023 Fall Semester Undergraduate and Graduate Midterm Exam Schedule

Regarding the 2022-2023 Fall Semester PhD Qualifying Written and Oral Exams

The PhD qualifying written exam will be held on 24.11.2022 at 09:00, and the oral exam at 14:00, both face-to-face in Meeting Room A-240.

1st Additional Exam Schedule for Students Reaching the Maximum Period of Study (2022-2023 Fall)

The 1st Additional Exam Schedule for the 2022-2023 Fall semester has been published for students reaching the maximum period of study.

Attention to Students Whose Maximum Period of Study Has Expired

Students whose maximum period of study has expired must contact their academic advisors and report their thesis topics by 21.10.2022, and submit their work by 19.01.2023.

Students Whose Courses Could Not Be Added Due to Course Conflicts

Students whose courses could not be added due to course conflicts must submit a petition in person requesting non-conflicting courses by the end of working hours on 12-13 October 2022.

Unapproved Course Add-Drop Petitions

Those whose add-drop petition was rejected and who do not want the alternative courses must submit a course-drop-only petition by the end of working hours on 10.10.2022 at the latest.

Regarding Petitions for Course Add-Drop with Excuse

Those who cannot select courses on OBS due to an excuse must submit a petition in person to Department Student Affairs between 28.09.2022 and 03.10.2022 until the end of working hours.

Re: Course Quota Increase (Updated)

Quotas will be increased for the listed undergraduate courses as of 14:00 and 16:00 on 26.09.2022.

The 2022-2023 Fall semester graduate course selection process, schedule, and OBS course registration guides have been published.

Additional Exam Applications for Students Completing Their Maximum Duration of Study at the End of the 2021-2022 Spring Semester

Those who complete their maximum duration of study at the end of the 2021-2022 Spring semester may apply for two additional exam rights via OBS between 29 September - 02 October 2022.

Regarding Conflicting Course Selections

Students wishing to select a maximum of two conflicting courses, provided that one is online and the other is face-to-face, must apply by petition on 29-30 September and 3 October 2023.

Regarding Quota Increases

Quota increases in elective and compulsory English courses will be made on the Independent Course Registration day if deemed necessary.

Regarding Course Registrations for the 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester

Course registrations for the 2022-2023 fall semester will be held on 20-23 September 2022, and independent course registration will be held on 26 September 2022 via OBS.

Regarding Taking Courses from Other Departments in the 2022-2023 Fall Semester

Students in graduation standing who wish to take courses from other departments during the fall semester must submit their approved petitions between 28.09.2022 and 03.10.2022.
