Regarding the 2019-2020 Fall Semester Course Registrations,

The curricula of the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering have been renewed, and students of these departments who registered in the 2019/2020 Fall semester will be responsible only for the new curriculum. For students of the Departments of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering who registered before the 2019/2020 Fall semester, the course types they took under the old curriculum will remain valid, and this semester they will be able to select their missing courses according to the course types in the new plan.
In accordance with YÖK and YTU Senate Principles, for master's students who have completed their maximum duration as of the end of the 2018-2019 Spring Semester, have applied for graduation, and whose graduation process is ongoing, paying tuition fees and selecting thesis and specialization courses during the 2019-2020 Fall Semester course registration week is not required. However, if master's and PhD students who have not completed their statutory maximum duration have an ongoing graduation process and their final hardbound thesis submission coincides with the 2019-2020 Fall Semester (applies to those who submit their hardbound thesis on or after Monday, 16.09.2019. Students who submit their thesis before the specified date are not required to pay tuition fees.), they are strictly required to pay their tuition fee debt (if any) and select their thesis and field of specialization courses.
