THE MATTERS THAT STUDENTS WISHING TO TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS OF OUR UNIVERSITY IN THE 2022-2023 SPRING SEMESTER MUST PAY ATTENTION TO ARE SPECIFIED BELOW.
•The student must be in a position to graduate at the end of the spring semester (including courses for which they will take the Graduation Exam)
•There must be no course conflict between the courses intended to be taken from other departments and the student's entire course schedule.
•A maximum of 2 courses may be taken on a one-time basis.
•The content of the course to be taken from other departments must have 75% equivalence.
•It must not exceed the total course credit limit that can be taken in a semester.
•The fact that internships have not been completed does not pose a problem.
•Students who have previously taken courses from other departments cannot take courses again. (Except for summer school)
STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS;
•You can obtain approval via e-mail from any of the faculty members who teach our Department's course corresponding to the course taken from the other department.
•You can make a request to the faculty member by sending the course content link of the other department course you are requesting to count, found at http://bologna.yildiz.edu.tr/.
•In the approval e-mail, it must be clearly stated by the faculty member as in the example: "The content of the course MTM3512 Complex Analysis 1 is 75% equivalent in terms of content to the course MAT4111 Theory of Complex Functions 1."
•You must send the approval you received together with your signed petition to the e-mail address mtmblm@yildiz.edu.tr between 27.02.2023 – 10.03.2023 (until the end of working hours).
•27.02.2023 is the announcement date of courses closed by all departments. Make sure that the course you specify in your petition is not closed.
•Petitions received before and/or after the specified dates will not be evaluated.
