Dear Students,
The Student Representative Elections will be held between 27-29 January 2022. (Undergraduate)
Representative candidates must submit their applications to the Department Head's Office between 29 November – 16 December 2021.
Students who will run as candidates for student representatives must meet the following requirements specified in Article 6 of the YTU Student Council Directive.
ARTICLE 6- Qualifications Required of Candidates
a) Being an enrolled student of at least the second year in the relevant Faculty,
b) Not being a member or official in organs of political parties,
c) Having no criminal record for infamous offenses,
ç) Not having received any disciplinary penalty from a Higher Education Institution other than a warning penalty,
d) Not having suspended registration during the semester in which the election is held,
e) Having a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or above out of 4 as of the beginning of the semester in which the election is held,
f) Having no affiliation, connection, or association with terrorist organizations.
