In the 2022-2023 Academic Fall Semester, the PhD Qualifying written and oral exams of our Department will be conducted face-to-face.
The qualifying written exam will be held on Thursday, 24.11.2022 at 09:00 in Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, Department of Mathematical Engineering Meeting Room A-240.
The oral exam for students who are successful in the written exam will be held on Thursday, 24.11.2022 at 14:00 in Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, Department of Mathematical Engineering Meeting Room A-240.
Students applying for the PhD Qualifying exam are responsible for the graduate courses defined in the program to which they applied.
In order for a student to be successful in the written part, the qualifying written exam score must be at least 70/100. A student who is not successful in the qualifying written exam cannot take the oral exam. A score of at least 50/100 must be obtained from the qualifying oral exam. The weight of the Written and Oral Exam parts within the entire exam is 50% each.
In order for a student to be considered successful, the average of the qualifying written and oral exams must be at least 70/100 points.
