THE MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED BY STUDENTS WHO WISH TO TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS OF OUR UNIVERSITY IN THE 2024-2025 SPRING SEMESTER ARE STATED BELOW.
•The student is required to be in a position to graduate at the end of the SPRING semester (including courses for which they will take the Graduation Exam).
•There must be no course conflict between the courses requested to be taken from other departments and the student's entire course schedule. (If the rule for taking conflicting courses is satisfied, the conflicting course may be taken. Click here for details.)
•A maximum of 2 courses can be taken, on a one-time basis.
•The content of the course to be taken from other departments must have 75% equivalence.
•The total course credit limit that can be taken in a semester must not be exceeded.
•The fact that internships are not completed does not pose an issue.
•Students who have previously taken courses from other departments cannot take courses again. (Except summer school)
STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS;
For the course you wish to take from another department, equivalence approval must be obtained from the faculty members whose names are specified in the list below*. (Approval may be obtained via the institutional email address or in written-signed form on the course content printouts)
In the approval email, it must be clearly stated by the faculty member as in the example: ”The content of the course MTM3512 Complex Analysis 1 has 75% content equivalence with the course MAT4111 Complex Function Theory 1.”
