RE: TAKING COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS IN THE 2020-2021 FALL SEMESTER
MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED BY STUDENTS WHO WISH TO TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS OF OUR UNIVERSITY IN THE 2020-2021 FALL SEMESTER ARE STATED BELOW.
•The student is required to be eligible to graduate at the end of the fall semester (including the courses for which they will take the Graduation Exam)
•A maximum of 2 courses may be taken, on a one-time basis.
•The content of the course to be taken from other departments must be 75% compatible.
•The total course credit limit that can be taken in a semester must not be exceeded.
•Internships not being completed does not pose an issue.
•Students who have previously taken courses from other departments cannot take courses again. (Except summer school)
STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE COURSES FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS;
•You can obtain approval via e-mail from any of the faculty members teaching our Department's course corresponding to the course taken from the other department.
•You can make a request to the faculty member by sending the course content link of the other department's course you are requesting to have counted, available at http://bologna.yildiz.edu.tr/.
•In the approval e-mail, the 75% compatibility in terms of content must be stated by the faculty member.
•You must send the approval you received together with your signed petition to mtmblm@yildiz.edu.tr by the end of working hours on 02.10.2020 at the latest. (with your student email address ending with std.yildiz.edu.tr)
•Petitions submitted after the specified date will not be evaluated.
